From PDF to LoanIQ. Fully Automated.
Clairo is an AI document processing pipeline built for syndicated lending operations. Upload a document, get structured data back — with human review only where confidence falls short.
End-to-End Workflow
Six stages from document arrival to LoanIQ entry — with automation at every step and human oversight where it matters.
Ingest
Documents arrive via upload or email attachment. Clairo accepts PDFs and queues them for processing immediately.
Each upload creates a document record and a background processing job.
Classify
AI reads the document excerpt and identifies the type from 20 supported lending document schemas — drawdown notices, compliance certificates, amendment agreements, and more.
Classification confidence below 70% routes to manual review before extraction proceeds.
Extract
A schema-targeted extraction prompt pulls every defined field — borrower name, amounts, dates, covenant ratios — each with its own confidence score.
Notices and certificates read the first 3 pages; agreements and financials read the full document.
Validate
Required fields below the 80% confidence threshold are flagged. Documents with all required fields above threshold go straight through.
Outcome: auto-approved or routed to the review queue with a reason.
Review
Ops staff review flagged fields in a side-by-side view — original PDF on the left, extracted values on the right. Approve, edit, or reject each field.
Every review action is logged with reviewer, timestamp, and corrected value.
Enter
Approved structured data is written to LoanIQ — facility records, drawdown entries, covenant data — without manual keying.
No copy-paste. No re-keying. Data flows directly into your loan servicing system.
Confidence Scoring at Every Layer
Not a single pass/fail — Clairo scores classification and every extracted field independently, so your team only reviews what actually needs attention.
Document classification
≥ 70% thresholdWhen the AI identifies document type with confidence below 70%, the document is flagged for manual classification before extraction begins.
Required field extraction
≥ 80% thresholdEach required field is scored individually. Any required field below 80% confidence — or missing entirely — triggers the review queue.
Optional fields
Non-blockingOptional fields are extracted when present but do not block straight-through processing if missing or low confidence.

Human Review Layer
Clairo automates the reading — your ops team validates the exceptions. Every action is logged with reviewer identity, timestamp, and notes.
Approve
Confirm the extracted value is correct. Field proceeds to LoanIQ entry as-is.
Edit
Correct the value inline. Original and corrected values are both logged for audit.
Reject
Flag the field as invalid. Document remains in review until all fields are resolved.
Product UI
Built for Credit Operations Teams
Review flagged fields in context, then track pipeline health from a single dashboard — no context switching between tools.
Document review with confidence scoring
Source PDF on the left, extracted fields on the right. Low-confidence values are highlighted with approve, edit, or reject actions.

LoanIQ Integration
Built for the System Your Ops Team Already Uses
Clairo is designed as the document intelligence layer in front of LoanIQ — not a replacement, not a parallel system.
Structured data export
Approved field values map directly to LoanIQ facility records, drawdown entries, and covenant data fields — no intermediate spreadsheets.
Facility-aware routing
Extracted borrower name and facility identifiers match to the correct LoanIQ facility before data is written.
Audit trail preserved
Every automated entry carries the extraction confidence scores and review history — full lineage from source PDF to LoanIQ record.
Bi-directional status sync
Document processing status in Clairo reflects LoanIQ posting confirmation — ops teams see end-to-end status in one dashboard.
